Our First Car

Before 2015 kicked in, Ali and I planned our goals for the upcoming year. We carefully decided five big goals and promised to take one step at a time in fulfilling it. Of course, prioritizing is the key, a lot of sweat, hard work and determination. Here's our top five:

1. Continue decorating and renovations for our condo. - It is a long term and never ending goal. We love decorating our space and we are continuously  renovating our condo. Of course, we have to have the funds first before doing anything else. Last January, we bought a wall mirror for the place to look big. Mirrors give that effect for small spaces like ours. We paused our condo project for the month of February because we have to save for another goal first. For March, we will build more cabinets for storage.

2. Invest on a business - We wanted to have a franchise and a fitness gym for a start. We actually had all the facts that we need in order to acquire businesses like these. The challenge is, the funds. We are still saving up, but things turned (positively) and we decided to delay our business plan.

3. Travel to a foreign country - I was actually the one responsible for this. Hehe! I want Ali to experience traveling abroad before we enter the baby phase. It will be our last hurray before the mini mes come. Malay mo doon pa mabuo ang panganay? Hahaha! For me, traveling to a foreign country will change and inspire you. I wanted Ali to experience that feeling. He promised me that he will make this dream come true. So hello Japan in November! :)

4. Have a baby! - Please see post HERE

 and lastly...
5. Buy our first car (CHECK!) - We planned to buy a second hand car in the middle of the year before we have a little one, but things turned out positively that God blessed us with a car this early. My parents were also planning to buy a new car (for their future apo. Hehe!) and they decided to sell their old car to us for the price of the down payment of their new ride. We, of course grabbed the opportunity. Though our first plan was to invest on a business first, but Ali gave in because he wanted to give me comfort.

Yehey!!! Now we don't have a problem in commuting, late night parties and of course out of town trips!!!

Yesterday we went to Antipolo Cathedral for the blessing of our car and to give thanks to God for always giving us more than what we need.

Forgive me if I will brag a little but I'm really proud of what we have achieved as a couple. Our wedding, our condo, furnitures, travels and now our own car. Its all the fruit of our hard earned labor, patience, perseverance and inspiring each other to do more. We are not like one of those rich couples who have inherited good fortunes, car and house from their parents but we on the other hand managed everything on our own, with love and support from our beloved parents, of course. Dugo't pawis yun chong!
Super duper special shout out to my darling husband who works ten times than I do to provide for our future family. That's the way he is, always putting my needs before his. Thank you Ali for spoiling me, giving me comfort, protection, security and most importantly unconditional love.

I am just overwhelmed with what God has given us for the past year. Sobrang dami, more than what we prayed for. We owe it all to HIM. Thank you God.
