Our little home

"Home is where the heart is"

After our wedding, we temporarily lived at my in-law's house while waiting for the papers for our condo. Three months after, the papers were released and our developers told us that we can finally move in. We were so happy that we immediately packed our things (just one day!) and move.

* will soon change the door and cabinet color (yellow is not on my list) *

We chose to live in the fourth floor, corner unit facing Antipolo. We have unlimited views of sunrise and sunsets. We don't use our aircon because we have "aircool" (we don't even use our electric fan!). Our little home is only 25sq.m. with pearl white exteriors. We have more (and I mean mooooore) projects / renovations to do but we love decorating, fixing, designing and re-arranging it. I can relate to Carrie Bradshaw with her line in Sex and the City 2, movie: "I'm cheating fashion for furnitures"

 * Our white sofa that we bought @ Mandaue Foam *

* dainty beige curtains I got on sale! Only Php200.00/curtain @ SM Home Dept. Store! *

* Statement frames we bought @ Robinsons Dept. Store *

We love neutral colors (beige and white). We incorporated cean blue and sea foam green for decorating accents. And recently, I have a thing for curtains and bed sheets. Haha!

Living in a condo was a dream come true (because I've been dreaming to live in a condo when I was still single) but of course, when we decided to have children in the future, this little home will be too small for us and our new goal is to save up for a house and lot with backyard, bigger kitchen and two bed rooms.
I get all giddy when talking about starting a family. It feels like I became a grown up in a snap! and becoming a parent... anyway anyway anywaaaay... (halatang were still not ready yet!)

Will still post new improvements of our castle (hahaha!) soon.

Our story

August 21, 2010, my gay friends asked me to join them for a "gay's night out" and they also want me to get out of the house (this was after a bad break up from my seven years relationship). That's when I met my husband, Ali.

                                                        * Our first picture together. Haha!

After four months of courtship, I finally said yes on December 29, 2010. Two years and 17lbs lighter, he popped the magical question any girl dreamed of. People ask me, when did you know that he's the right one? I told them, when were watching a TV Series, there's an episode that a couple got married and then I blurted out: "Pangarap ko yan eh" and he said "Pwede bang ako nalang ang tumupad ng pangarap mo na yan?" He is my dream come true, he turns wrong to right, he is my opposite attraction and the love of my life. He will do everything for me, hard and easy. My protector, my guardian Angel and I thank God everyday that he has blessed me with this man.

One year of wedding preparation, hard work and saving, we finally got hitched. Our magical day, my dream wedding and the start of our new journey with each other and God. Sharing to you some of our wedding pictures.

One year has passed and were still adjusting to our married life. We had arguments, petty fights but we are having a lot of fun living together. As they always say:

"Marriage is not happy ending, but its HARD WORK"

Join me in exploring the do's and dont's of marriage, our new adventures as husband and wife and soon know what it feels like to be a Mommy.
