Antipolo Family Date

This was long overdue post that I wanted to share with my non exsistent readers. (LOL) Last January 17, 2015, I asked my parents, brother and husband to go out on a family date. My Dad was very fond of this. He's always so game when I invite them to go out with us but he's so lazy to drive so he always ask Ali to drive for the whole family. Hahaha!

Anyway, we agreed to go to Antipolo for an over looking dinner because we have a Spa reservation nearby after that. So we went to Leonardo's (our family's favorite restaurant with videoke in Rizal) but unfortunately, Leonardo's is jam packed because yeah, its a Saturday gimik night. Ali and I suggested that we try Cloud 9. Its in the top most and they had a gorgeous view of the city.

Cloud 9 was also packed but were willing to wait due to hungriness and we also thought that we'll stick to one restaurant nalang because its a Saturday. You know, gimik night! Hahaha!

Cloud 9's food was divine. Filipino dishes are served. We ordered Corn soup, Sisig, Liempo and Chopseuy. My husband and my Dad loves Filipino food so much! As for me and my brother, second lang because we love our PP combos (pasta and pizza), while my Mom was neutral. The place was okay too if you wanted to have a full view of the City. It's even beautiful if you go here at sunset. Mas emo ang feels but I will not recommend it for a romantic getaway because pak na pak talaga sa tao. One thing I didn't like about this place was their slow service. They didn't have a receptionist to accomodate you while waiting, instead, our family and other guests are on a first come first serve basis. So parang fast food lang.

After dinner we decided to explore the whole area. I've been to Cloud 9 two times, the first time was with my friend way back in college and the second one is with Ali because we have a food tasting for our wedding held at Cloud 9. Ever since, I didn't bother to explore the whole Cloud 9 area until last January. They have a roof deck called 360 where you can go via wooden bridge or stairs. You have to pay Php50.00 if you're walk-in guests, but if you dine and show your receipt to them, the Php50.00 is free of charge. Its exciting to use the wooden bridge because the lights are changing. May ganong effect.

After climbing up the wooden bridge, we were so amazed by the view from the top most section. At ang lamig lamig doon!

We happen to wear the same hues! Blue and White! Hindi namin pinagsuapan to ha!

After spending lots of time in the deck,  we went down to discover an art gallery! Let me tell you that I LOVE LOOOOOVE NUDE PAINTINGS!!! I'm not that artsy fartsy but I really appreciate nudity as art. Actually pati sex paintings gustong gusto ko rin. I even plan to have one on our place but of course when my future kids are old enough to understand the art. Hehehe!

I wanted to stay longer because there's a live painting session happening but we didn't have the time because of our spa appointment. Huhuhu! We used the stairs and cement bridge to go down because my Husband and Dad got dizzy from the wooden bridge. (LOL)

Tips for Cloud 9 goers: Go here at Sunset, enjoy the view and please see their art gallery.
